Three days is the shortest realistic window for a gorilla permit in Bwindi, chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, or the game drives at Murchison Falls. The shape is the same in each: a travel day in, the activity on day two, and the return on day three. It is the most common length we run, and the one that fits around a fixed permit date.
