The non-safari half of the country: Grade 5 rafting at the source of the Nile in Jinja, and the waterfall trail at Sipi on Mount Elgon. Sipi is walked between Arabica coffee plantations and Bagisu farming villages; Jinja adds bungee jumping, kayaking and sunset cruises. Both work as a short trip on their own, or as the front or back end of a longer safari.
